How often does the goose check?
The goose scans NYC records daily. When a new ticket appears on your plate, you'll get a honk (email alert) — usually within 24 hours of it hitting the system.
Is this an official city service?
Nope — just a very determined goose with access to public data. For official city services, visit NYC.gov. The goose just makes it easier to stay on top of your tickets.
Can I check plates from other states?
Yes! You can check any plate that's received a parking ticket in NYC, regardless of which state it's registered in. Out-of-state plates get ticketed in NYC all the time.
What happens if I have unpaid tickets?
We'll show you exactly what you owe and link you directly to NYC.gov to pay. Unpaid tickets can double in fines after 90 days, and can eventually lead to booting or towing.
